Game 1 – Grind Time vs. Box Out

Two teams coming off losses hope to get win numero uno on Monday. Both forgot how to rebound on opening night. Let’s see who can do work on the glass in this game.

Grind Time – Keys to the Game

#1 – Rebound, Rebound, Rebound – Outrebounded 48-22 last week

#2 – Attack the rim – Too many 3’s, not enough FTs

#3 – Finish! – Plenty of blown lay-ups and wide open shots. Need to clean that up!

Box Out – Keys to the Game

#1 – Bounce Back – They’ll need rookie Japrell Morgan to do what he can do

#2 – Help D’Andre – D’Andre only player in double digits

#3 – Uh…Box Out – Outrebounded 58-31 last week

Game 2 – The Investment Academy vs. S.W.I.S.H.

The scary looking Investment Academy take on Ryan Michalski and Team Swish.

S.W.I.S.H. – Keys to the Game

#1 – Continue to pass the rock – 18 of 21 FGs made were assisted

#2 – Take good shots – A lot of forcing and rushed shots, take your time.

#3 – Finish! – Plenty of blown lay-up. Need to finish the easy ones!

The Investment Academy – Keys to the Game

#1 – Don’t let anyone go off except for Michalski

#2 – Keep Shooting – A few players with a lot of rust on opening night. Keep shooting.

#3 – Dominate the glass – Unreal effort on the glass. Keep it up.

Game 3 – Unruly vs. What’s Luv

Save the best for last. This game features 2 teams that won on opening night. Who gets handed their first L?

 

Unruly – Keys to the Game

#1 – Effort – Everyone really gave it their all and that made the difference last week

#2 – Everyone crash – Amazing job on the glass last week. Keep it up.

#3 – Get a hand up – A lot of shotmakers on What’s Luv. They shot 59% from 3 last week.

What’s Luv - Keys to the Game

#1 – Balanced Attack – So many weapons and playing unselfishly  

#2 – Grit – They play with a lot of grit and really get after it. You gotta love it.

#3 – Smart - With the exception of a few shots, they didn’t force the action and were always looking for the open man.
