The Bugatti Boys get the job done as they seal the deal with the thrilling 100-89 win over the revamped District 6.
Zapanza vs Dodi - EDGE ZAPANZA
Zapanza was lights out as he notched a game high 27 points, 9 rebounds on 11/16 FG shooting. Dodi assumed the role as playmaker for his squad dishing out a team high 8 assists.
eChua vs Harvey - EDGE HARVEY
Johnathan Harvey was a killer on game day posting 26 points on 50% FG shooting. For Chua, he posted a consistent 15 points and 6 rebounds.
Penola vs Goodridge - EDGE PENOLA
This was a key match-up as well and both players responded with solid games as Goodridge posted 16 points and 6 rebounds, while Penola was one assist shy of a triple double with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists.
Murray vs Osazuwa - TIED
If look at the box score it does not look close, but when you factor in that D6's regular season scorer shot 42% FG from the floor and 8% from downtown, you have to give credit to Murray and his teammates as they clearly had a game plan and executed it perfectly.
Hsu vs Mitchell - EDGE HSU
Hsu finished the game with 6 points and 4 rebounds, while Mitchell went scoreless with 3 boards and 2 assists.
On the game's brightest stage, Bugatti Boys were focus and they showed the composure needed to be successful on the floor on game day. For District 6, Osazuwa posted 25 points and 13 rebounds, while Harvey and Goodridge played arguably their best games of the season, but when it came down to who was willing to sacrifice and leave it all on the floor for their team, it was Bugatti Boys who got the job done while picking up their 6th MB championship in the process.
Great work to both teams and amazing work from all players on leaving it all on the floor. Enjoy the rest of the summer!
