Here we are. The Tuesday finals have finally come, and features a great matchup featuring the
defending champions Hong Shing taking on the regular season kingpins Toon Squad. Both
teams had to win hard fought, gritty games last week to get here, and are now 40 mins away
from having the chance to hoist the MB Championship Trophy. These teams matchup well with
each other, and there are some great individual matchups to watch play out. Lets dig a little
further into how these teams stack up against one another.

Backcourt
Both of these teams boast some dynamic backcourt players who are liable to get hot at any
moment. These matchups will probably play a big role in deciding this game, so expect to see
some intense play. Ashton Graham and Simon Cummings have done nothing but win since
teaming up on Hong Shing. They will have their hands full with the Toon Squads combo of Samy
Mohammed and Emmanuel Osayande. Both teams have solid options off the bench as well in
Lucian Covic and Johnathon Harvey.

Frontcourt
Tyrone Dickson has been a walking double double all season, and has also been one of the best
shotblockers all season. His rim protection and rebounding has been a critical element to
igniting the Toon Squad transition game. Michael Ranger and Pedro Cabral have continued to
be the steady hands of the Hong Shing squad. Their contrasting abilities defensively makes
them a difficult matchup for any front court given their versatility.
Advantage: Hong Shing

Reserves
While Hong Shing has a very talented top 5, their bench this season has been shaky at times.
They will need to show up big for them here. Toon squad features arguably the best set of
reserves in the league. Harvey, Krug and Johnson have all filled their roles well throughout the
year. A couple of these guys from each team have the chance to make a key impact on the
outcome of this game.

Advantage: Toon Squad
Toon squad have been most effective throughout the season capitalizing on transition. They
turn defence into offence seamlessly and are lethal in transition. They also have shown great
ball movement and chemistry on the offensive end. The same can be said for Hong Shing there,

but they play at a slightly slower pace than Toon, and can grind out possessions against the best
of them. It will be interesting to see how Toon adjusts to the super switchy and lengthy defence
of Hong Shing. All 5 guys can switch pick and roll situations, so Toon will have to be prepared
for that. Hong Shing are looking to become back to back champions, and they would be the first
Tuesday team to do so since Bugatti Boys. Toon is moving up to advanced next season, and
want to end this great run through the season with a chip. Good luck to both teams and leave it
