District 6 gets the commanding 61-36 win over Salami & Cheese, as Jonathan Harvey posts 24 points and 4 rebounds in the victory. S & C very own, Vadim Razenberg had an impressive slam in this one, contributing with a team high 13 points, but ultimately, his team needs more leadership out of him as he was ejected in the second half with plenty of basketball left in the game. Hopefully, Vadim can improve and lead his team on both ends of the floor in their next game.

For the second game of the night, we saw Tribe Called Blessed play their best game of the season against the Bugatti Boys, as they earned the hard fought 75-72 come from behind win last night. Justin Bhangoo led TCB in scoring with 29 points and 7 rebounds, while Daniel Mong provided additional offensive support with 20 points. For Bugatti Boys, Capt. Larry Chua posted a team high 21 points, but it was all in a losing effort.

In the final game of the night, we saw a wild and entertaining contest as Toronto Wilds defeat Hitmen 64-48. With back to back wins, Toronto Wilds has catapulted from the bottom to near middle of the pack in the standings. Delly Thomas had an impressive outing with 27 points, 5 steals, 4 assists and 4 rebs, while Vince Kua posted 13 points and 6 steals in the win. For Hitmen, they had the right mentality in attempting to swing the ball, but what hurt them was their relaxed defense in this one as they showed signs of a team with lack of hunger and team work. They got a productive game out of from Darian Bundy, who led his team in scoring with 21 points, but the story of this game was that they got outworked and out-hustled by a team that simply just wanted it more than them. Hopefully, they can finish strong as the season comes to a near end.
