We are now only 2 weeks away from the end of the regular season, with playoff seeding starting to take some shape. There is still time for teams to jockey spots or to get into a spot.
These last couple weeks should bring an exciting end to what has been a great season to date. Lets take a look at what happened in this weeks action.

7pm – Hong Shing (4-2) 66 Vs. Gladiators (3-3) 44
Hong Shing appear to have righted the shift after a midseason funk, as they were able to steamroll through a Gladiators team that has played above expectation so far this season. Hong
Shing got double figure scoring from 4 different players, and were in control majority of the game thanks in large part to owning the glass all night. Gladiators did not get the hot shooting
they have had most of the season, and were just unable to string a run together throughout the game.

8pm – Regeneration X (1-6) 53 Vs. Uptown (1-6) 34
Regeneration X were able to secure their first win of the season in convincing fashion, taking out the free falling Uptown team by a margin of 19 pts. Regeneration have been improving the last couple weeks, and it culminated with this solid team effort in spite of only hitting 2 trey balls for the game. They used a combination of relentless attacking the basket and some solid defensive effort against an Uptown team that struggled to fight through their slow start.
Uptown were riddled with unforced turnovers and poor shot selection throughout the game,
and have let their season get away from them after a solid start.

9pm – Sharks (4-2) Vs. Toon Squad (5-1)
The Sharks were unable to field a team this week, which resulted in a forfeit win for Toon Squad. The win further pads their lead for 1 st in the division, while Sharks fall to a 3 way tie for
2 nd with New Era and Hong Shing

Up Next
Here is a look ahead to the matchups for Week 8
7pm – Gladiators (3-3) Vs. Regeneration X (1-6)
Gladiators will be looming to shake off a bad loss against a Regeneration X team that has been
playing their best ball of the season the last few weeks.
8pm – Hong Shing (4-2) Vs Sharks (4-2)
A heavyweight matchup that has big implications in terms of playoff seeding. Both teams will be looking to send a message to one another as this could be a potential playoff matchup as
well.
9pm – Uptown (1-5) Vs New Era (4-2)
New Era will be looming to keep pace with the 2 other teams they are battling with for 2nd place. Uptown have been sliding down the standings these last couple weeks and hope to end
their season on a strong note.
