To kick off the night, MPC defeated Superclub 72-53. The real game changer here was depth and teamwork. MPC had three players score in double-digits while Superclub didn’t have much production outside of Andrew Motta. Every piece of the puzzle was moving tonight for MPC, with everyone adapting and overcoming each comeback attempt by Superclub.

In a high scoring second game, Eye Studio defeated the Kings 84-73. What gave Eye Studio the edge here was their size advantage. They outrebounded Kings by a almost 30 rebounds, which led to a lot of fast breaks and second chance opportunities for them. Jerome Smith also had a HUGE game, pouring in 40 points (12 3PM!) and pulling down 20 rebounds.

In the final game of the night, Trojans defeated Nonsense 70-48. It was a tie game coming into the second half, and then Trojans decided to kick into second gear. They came out of the break attacking the hoop aggressively and picking off careless passes by Nonsense. Everybody was communicating, running, and giving it their all and it was too much for the shorthanded Nonsense.
