District 6 and the Bugatti Boys battled it out and it was D6, who came out victorious as they walked away with the 79-75 win. Darlington Osazuwa led his team in scoring with 25 points, while Curtis Johnson poured in a season high 20 points. Bugatti Boys guard Erwin Zapanza chipped in 20 points, while Capt. Chua added 19 in the loss.

Salami & Cheese squared up against the Tribe Called Blessed and it was all S & C as they emerged with the convincing 59-38 victory over TCB. Christian Coldea once again led his team in scoring and rebounding with 17 points and 9 boards, while Ramsey Aburaneh contributed with 13 points in the victory. TCB received solid performances from Justin Bhangoo and Ari Steriotis with 14 points a piece, but it was all in a losing effort.

In the final game of the night, we saw potentially the upset of the season as Toronto Wild defeated Hitmen with the 52-49 victory. Delly Thomas has one of his best games of the season posting the double double of 20 points and 11 rebounds. For Hitmen, they dominated the rebounding department 42-29, but could not figure it out as they now suffered their 4th loss in a row. Hopefully, they figure it out and get back on the winning track in the next contest.

Leaders of the Week

Points - Darlington Osazuwa (25)
Rebounds - Andre Xavier (14)
Assists - Norman Penola, Yirenchi Dodi, and Jordan Crawford (5)
Steals - Yirenchi Dodi (6)
Blocks -  Kevin Cornwall (3)

Next Week

We have Tribe Called Bless and Toronto Wild at 8pm, Hitmen vs Salami & Cheese at 9pm, and Bugatti Boys versus Grind Time for the final game of the night at 10pm. Finally, District 6 will get the bye in week 7.

Good luck to everyone and remember to leave it all on the floor!
