In the first game of the night, MPC defeated Eye Studio 68-62. It was a physical battle throughout, each team giving it their all. MPC seemed to have the upper hand late in the second half, leading by 10+, but Nonsense rallied together to make a comeback. Things were looking good for Nonsense until foul trouble forced them to play 4 v 5. MPC easily held the lead in the final minutes with short quick ball movement and easy layups.

In the second game of the night the Trojans defeated the hot and rolling Kings 92-87. Throughout the entire game the Trojans were locked and loaded; they were level headed and did a good job of guarding the Kings’ on the three point line. This gave them a comfortable lead coming into the second half. The Kings eventually caught fire late into the second half but it was too late and they could not complete a comeback.

In the final game of the night Eye Studio beat Superclub 78-66. Eye Studio had a clear size advantage and they were doing everything right. They were spacing the floor, forcing many turnovers, and converting on the other end with easy layups and threes. Superclub had no answers for them tonight.

Next week we’ll see MPC face off against Superclub at 6 p.m., Eye Studio face off against Kings at 7, and Nonsense face off against Trojans at 8.
