On Point Summer League Recap - Week 5

After a week off, the players were extra excited to get back on the court. The Fraternity blew open the game in the 2nd half, defeating Hardwood Nemesis by 15 to get the W. Norman Penola did his thing with 27-5-3 with Orlando Paul adding 16 and Jeff Krug pulling in a double-double. Hardwood Nemesis struggled mightily from the field shooting 25%. In the 2nd game, the loudest game of the night saw Grind Time roll to their 5th straight win, defeating The Investment Academy by 13. Aaron Martin led with 20 points while limiting TIA to only 16 field goals for the entire night. In the 3rd game, the Titans had a major win, blowing out Swish Squad by 21. Mohamed Mahdi exploded for 29 points alongside Riam Sigua who added 26. Swish Squad struggled to keep up with the Titan offense. Marlon Hamilton with a league best 8 dimes on the night. Craig Hanson finished with 18-16 in a losing effort. In the final game, the Savages rolled to victory defeating Classick by 12. Zac Bendahan had the same amount of rebounds as the entire Classick team (13) and scored 16 in the process. Savages shot just over 50% from the field and almost tripled up Classick on the glass. Classick was without Michael Knight.
