Week 4 is officially in the books after a tough night of game action. We saw a couple games that ended up lopsided wins, as well as a team taking their first loss on the season. Here is a recap of
what went down.

7pm – New Era (2-1) 64 Vs. Gladiators (2-2) 37
New Era were able to take control of the game in the early going, and managed to build on their momentum in the second half to pull away from an undermanned Gladiators squad. New Era shot well on the night (50% FG) to compliment some stifling and spirited defence that left the Gladiators frustrated at times. New Era's balanced approach to offence led to 16 team
assists. This New Era team has such solid chemistry, and seem to know what each other wants to do in any situation. Gladiators did not have their best effort tonight, and can thank their poor shooting (30% FG) and turnovers for this loss.

8pm – Toon Squad (2-1) 114 Vs. Hong Shing (2-1) 70
A matchup of two teams filled with great talent top to bottom saw Toon Squad handle Hong Shing. Toon Squad was ready from the opening tip, beginning the game on a 17-3 run and never
looking back. Hong Shing were never able to recover, and simply had no answers for Toon all night long. 6 players were in double figures for Toon, including 3 guys with over 20. They shot a
scorching 62% from the field on the night, and connected on 16 trey balls in the highest scoring game by a team this season. Hong Shing suffer their first loss in 6 games dating back to last season, and will be left searching for answers after this one.

9pm – Sharks (3-1) 79 Vs. Uptown (1-3) 64
Uptown came into this one holing to get out of their recent funk against perennial contender Sharks. They were unable to do so however, as the Sharks picked them apart with 21 team
assists on the way to the victory. The Sharks were locked in all night offensively, moving the ball to the open man with ease and taking advantage of some sloppy defending by Uptown.
Turnovers were also a factor for Uptown, who continued to have turnovers at the most inopportune times throughout which killed any momentum they had. Sharks now sit atop the division in first place once again, and seem to be at the top of their game right now.

Week 5
Here is a look ahead to our matchups for Week 5

7pm – Regeneration X (0-3) Vs. Toon Squad (2-1)
Regeneration X will look to end their losing skid at 3 games against a Toon Squad team that is coming off of a big time win over Hong Shing.

8pm – Hong Shing (2-1) Vs. New Era (2-1)
A battle of two heavyweight teams with a recent history of some close matchups. It will be interesting to see if Hong Shing can avoid taking a second straight loss against this tough New Era team that is playing well right now.

9pm – Sharks (3-1) Vs. Gladiators (2-2)
The Sharks will look to build on their lead for first in the division as they take on a Gladiators
team that has been up and down in the first half of the season.
