In the first game of week 4 action, the Trojans defeated Superclub 84-76. The Trojans seemed to have the the advantage over the club from tipoff; they were forcing turnovers all game and when Superclub showed signs of a run brewing, they were hastily stopped. Rogel Cousins led the way with 25 and 10.

The second game of the night saw the Kings decimate Nonsense 107-54. The Kings were doing everything right this game; they were aggressive on defence which led to easy transition 3s and layups. They were running and gunning on Nonsense all night and racked up 21 3PTM as a team. Zach Wright led all scorers and rebounders with 27 points and a whopping 20 boards.

In the final game, MPC defeated Eye Studio in a nail biter 68-64. MPC started the game off with a comfortable lead and held that lead for most of the game. Eye Studio’s downfall here was that they didn’t really turn on the jets until late in the game. In the final minutes, Eye Studio was on a tear but ultimately MPC’s aggressive defence and speed won them this one.

Next sunday there will be no games because of the long weekend, and on July 8 we will see MPC take on the Kings (6 p.m.), Nonsense vs. Superclub (7 p.m.), and Trojans face off against Eye Studio (8 p.m.). Enjoy the week off everybody!
