To kick off week 3 Mill St. action, the Trojans defeated Myodetox 69-54 in a heated battle. Right from tipoff, the Trojans were forcing turnovers and hitting all of their shots, leading to a 34-17 lead at the half. MPC had their hints of a comeback but in the end couldn’t keep their composure, while the Trojans kept it calm and collected on their way to the W.

In the second game of the night, Nonsense defeated Eye Studio in a triple overtime thriller. It was a close back and forth battle throughout, but late in the second half NS put up a run which gave them a comfortable lead coming into the last two minutes. However, this is when Harry Ezinebe went on a tear and willed his team back in the game. The teams were neck in neck throughout the first two overtimes, and in the third sudden death overtime, Matt Tierny of NS caught the ball on an easy cut and secured the game.

This week’s POTG are Rogel Cousins, who put up 25 points, 9 rebounds, and went perfect from the field in the second half; and Arsalan Jamil, who had a balanced line of 17 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists.

Next week the Superclub will be taking on the Trojans (6 p.m.) and in the second game MPC will be taking on Eye Studio (7 p.m.).
