In week 8, here is what went down:

SWAT VS TEAM CZ (FAVORITE):

SWAT earns the great 110-93 team win over Team CZ as 3 players tallied more than 20+ points with Ibrahim, Cashmier, and Williams combined for a total of 65 points, including 13 treys. Also, veteran floor general Curtis Morris led the way in the passing department with a game high 10 assists. For Team CZ, they where shorthanded with only 5 players as Dre Glisic had another monster game with 23 points and 19 rebounds. But, with the defending champs shooting an abysmal 28% from downtown, their shooting woes proved to be the difference maker in this one.

LINT VS NEW REGIME (FAVORITE):

New Regime gets the hard earned 106-101 win over Lint as Tyrone Mattison leads all scorers with 30 points to go with 7 rebounds and 7 assists. His teammate, Stef Nastic had a solid 21 points and 10 boards, while Tut Ruach flirted with the near triple double with 13 points, 10 assists, and 8 rebounds. For Lint, Shane Morrison dropped a team high 26 points, while adding 8 rebounds and 6 assists. But, when it was all said and done, Lint's inability to convert on their free throws proved to be vital on game day as they shot 63% from the charity stripe, missing a total of 6 FT's, while their opponent shot an impressive 88% from the line. In the end, New Regime improves to 6-0, while Lint suffers their 4th loss, sitting at 2-4 for the season.

ON POINT (FAVORITE)

VS DESTA TRAINING :

As predicted, ON POINT (OP) gets the narrow edged victory with the 94-88 win over Desta Training. OP's very own Titus Channer led his team in scoring with 24 points, while Raymond had an impressive 22 points and 14 rebounds in the win. For Desta Training, Lawrence McNeil balled out with a game high 34 points, while adding 9 rebounds but with his squad tallying up a game high 18 TO's, it limited their opportunities in getting their first win of the season. Also, forward Ben Haile had a very strong outing with 22 points and 13 rebounds, but it was not enough on game day as they suffer their 6th loss of the season.

Great work to all teams and with only 2 more games left in the season, expect teams to leave it all on the floor as we can only anticipate that everyone will finish strong as the regular season comes to a near end. Good luck to all teams!
