In week 7, here is what went down:
Word on the street that Gilbert Gyamfi had the highlight of the year with his emphatic dunk over a Desta Training defender. He also had a game high 29 points, while adding 6 rebounds and 3 assists in his team's 98-74 victory. For Desta Training, Ben Haile was the only positive for his team as he posted a solid double double of 25 points and 11 rebounds in the loss.
This game went back and forth early on, but once New Regime found it's rhythm they never looked back as they coasted to the 99-76 victory over TBD. In the win, big man Stefan Nastic had a very good game as he finished with 23 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists while going an amazing 10-11 from the charity stripe. TBD's Alex Desroches finished with a team high 23 points, but it was all in a losing effort.
The game was not as lopsided as suggested in the preview as On Point put up a good fight from beginning to end. But, when it was all said and done, it was Lint walking away with the 102-95 victory as Paul Blake had a team high 28 points, to go with 10 rebounds while Shane Morrison adding 26 points and 11 rebounds in the win. On Point had 5 players reach double digits and they did a great job moving the ball, but the experience of Lint prevailed on game day as they had no answer in stopping their opponent on the offensive end of the floor.
Great job on leaving it all on the floor and good luck next week!
