Week 5 Preview

We are back tonight for another great evening of Tuesday Comp. Teams were able to get some time off to refocus on the stretch run. Some key games tonight will start to provide some clarity on the playoff picture going forward. Here is a look at tonight’s games:

7pm – Shootout (2-1) Vs. Savage Kulture (0-4)

2 teams that are still looking to make their mark in the division will face off in this one. Shootout has been up and down to start the season. They have the tools to be competitive in the playoffs, but need to find a way to overcome the size disadvantage they face on some nights. Savage Kulture have brought tenacity and energy to their games, but it has not translated to victory yet. Hopefully a win tonight will get one of these teams on a better path to close out the season.

8pm – Grind Time (1-3) Vs. Bel Air Academy (1-2)

Bel Air Academy have picked up their play the last couple games, and will be put to the test in this one against an underachieving Grind Time team. Grind Time have played close games each week and ha e come up short in a bad way a couple times. They are looking for anything to turn this season around. Bel Air have the opportunity here to capitalize on the disarray Grind Time is in to put themselves back at .500 on the year.

9pm – Hong Shing (3-1) Vs. Sharks (3-0)

In the matchup of the night, Hong Shing look to keep rolling as they face off against an undefeated Sharks team who have been firing on all cylinders. Both teams rely on their size and outside shooting, often playing a slower pace to get their games off. If one tram can open it up and get out in transition, it could help them to secure the win. Sharks always play tough, and will be sure to be ready for a Hong Shing team that has looked like an early season contender.

10pm – Serbia (0-4) Vs. Sunnybrook (3-0)

The defending champs are off to a sizzling start, and will look to remain undefeated against Serbia. Serbia will be in tough against the Sunnybrook offence that has been moving the ball at an elite level this season. They have picked apart defences all year, and if Serbia wants a chance to win this one they will need to step up defensively.

Good Luck to All Teams tonight and Ball Hard
