Week 4 Preview

This Winter 18 season has gotten off to a crazy start so far with some high sckring games and a few last second heroics. We are now starting to head into the midway point of the season, and it should be interesting to see what teams are able to separate themselves from the pacl. Here is a look at this weeks matchups:

7pm - On Point (2-1) Vs. Serbia (0-3)

Both newcomers have gotten off to polar opposite starts. On Point has shown to this point that they could be a force come playoff time with their strong team game. Serbia has been inconsistent on the defensive end to start the year, and will need to turn it around on that end to avoid missing out on the post season.  Look for On Point to attack in transition, as Serbia has had trouble slowing down the fast break game. Serbia will need to knock down shots early to avoid falling in a hole to start yet again.

8pm – Sharks (2-0) Vs. Grind Time (1-2)

Sharks are once again off to a fast start, and are coming off a dominant win 2 weeks ago and a bye so they should be itching to get back out there. They will go up against a talented Grind Time team that has simply been unable to put it together through the seasons first couple weeks. Any time these 2 teams matchup you can be sure it will be a physical and intense matchup. The Sharks will rely on their team oriented inside-out attack, and will look to slow down the full octane Grind Time offence. Grind Time are hoping to put together a full 44 minutes of consistency in this one, and avoid the melt downs that have them sitting below .500 for the first time in a Tuesday season.

9pm – Bel Air Academy (0-2) Vs. Sunnybrook (2-0)

Defending champs Sunnybrook have jumped out to a good start this season and are coming off a big time victory over Grind Time. Bel Air have not gotten off to the start they wanted, and will be coming out aggressive tonite in hopes of turning their mini slide around. Sunnybrook have looked great offensively, with excellent ball movement and strong shooting. Bel Air will be put to the test early and often defensively in this one so they better come prepared.

10pm – Savage Kulture (0-3) Vs. Hong Shing (2-1)

Savage Kulture are coming into this one in need of a strong showing. Their effort and intensity defensively is through the roof, and frankly hasn’t been the issue. They need to find a way to be more effective offensively, especially against a solid Hong Shing team. Hong Shing are coming off a disappointing effort last week and will look to put it behind them. They will need their shooters to knock down trey balls to give Graham and Cummings room to operate on the drive. When/if those 2 get the room to operate, its usually a long night for the opposition. Savage Kukture will need to have an answer for them if they hope to get the W.
