The Edge

This will be anyone’s game on game day, as it all depends who steps up and who wants it more. If I had to choose, I do feel Grind Time can pull away as long as Thomas, Drummond, and Isidro can produce on offense but ultimately, it all depends whether they have the ability to stop Coote, St. Paul and Penola from having big games. 

Key Matchup

Jamie Coote (Savages) vs Dre Xavier (Grind Time)

Xavier will have the main task of protecting the paint and limiting Coote’s production, will the Grind Time big be able to lock down the Savages main threat from the interior? 

MB X-Factor

Ahsan Mahmood (Savages) and Garey Drummond (Grind Time) 

Both players provided a huge boost last week as Mahmood stepped up late in the clutch for the Savages while Drummond brought in toughness and versatility on defense. With the season on the line, which player will leave it all on the floor on game day?
