Grind Time outwork Box Out

Aaron Martin had a breakout game in a big win for Grind Time in Week 7. Martin with 25 points, 7 rebounds, 3 dimes and 3 steals in the W. Both Andre Xavier and Kwasi Adu-Basowah had double-doubles combining for 24 and 15.

Zac Bendahan led Box Out with 15-15, but obviously not enough to keep Box Out in the game. The team really struggled from the floor and got outplayed in virtually every category.

Box Out remains at the bottom of the standings along with the Rapchaz while Grind Time moves a couple spots up.

Unruly roll to another W

Unruly shot just shy of 50% from the floor in an easy win over the Rapchaz in Week 7 action. Akai Nettey was great on both ends with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 steals in the W. Delly Thomas with another all-around effort with 12 points, 10 rebounds and 7 dimes.

Daniel Williams was a bright spot for Rapchaz finishing with 14 points on 7/11 and 4 rebounds and 4 dimes. Unfortunately he was the only player in double figures and the rest of the team shot 20%.

Unruly improves to 4-2 while the Rapchaz drop their 5th straight.

Game Over Shaq Dover

Kawhi Not’s Shaq Dover could not be stopped and was a force on both ends of the floor. Dover with 28 points on 11/15, 7 rebounds and 7 steals in the victory. As a team, Kawhi Not shot 24/40 (60%) while limiting The Investment Academy to 40%.

Ahsan Mahmood with a smooth 12 points on 5/7 and Ryan Michalski with a double-double of 11-11, but not enough to keep things close.

Kawhi Not still perfect after 6 weeks while The Investment Academy falls back to .500 and 4th overall at 3-3.

Swish can’t be stopped

Well if you like offense, this was definitely the game to watch. The top two scorers in the league put on a show with 30+ performances. Jevon Jacob finished with 32 points spoiling Emeron Rodgers’ 35 point game. SWISH won the game but it could have definitely gone either way. SWISH edged BBB at the charity stripe going 15-19 and scoring 4 more which in the end was a big 4 points.

SWISH had a lot of great efforts across the board with Colorado adding 14 and Miller with 8-9. They also shot 39% from 3 point range which was slightly better than their opponents.

SWISH continues their hot pursuit of 1st place sitting at 5-1, 1 game behind first while BBB falls to 2-4.
