Unruly rolls to victory over Grind Time

Unruly got it going with Jonathan Harvey and Akai Nettey scoring 22 each. They also shot well from 3pt range at 38%. Although they got outrebounded on the glass they did a good job contesting Grind Time as only one player shot over 50% from the floor. Grind Time’s offensive struggles continue as only one player score in double figures. They also shot only 5-26 from 3pt range for 19.2% and that’s just not going to get it done. Grind Time may have to look at acquiring some scoring this week via trade.

Kawhi Not still undefeated

3 weeks in, rookie coach Shannon Patterson and her squad are undefeated. Now this was an ugly win but they’ll take it. Shaq Dover was the only player who really had it going leading all players with 22 points and 12 boards. Outside of Dover, Kawhi Not only shot 26% from the floor. Box Out really struggled from everywhere on the court especially 3pt range only shooting 8% in the game. Yes, 8%. The former #1 pick D’Andre Hospedales had an off night with 11. Nick Cruz led with 13-2-2-3 but not enough to get the W.

Bugatti Boys duo outlast Rapchaz

The #1 pick had his best game of the young season. Emeron Rodgers finished with 33 including 7-11 from three point range. His partner in crime Joel Sooden added 18 as the Bugatti Boys win a close one over the Rapchaz by 6. Rapchaz got another stellar performance from Hakim Dahnoun but they simply didn’t have an answer for Rodgers. Rapchaz didn’t have a great night shooting the ball going 5-22 from deep.

SWISH defeat Investment Academy in a battle

It’s 10 point win, but this game was close throughout. What doesn’t make sense is SWISH had no centre, no power forward but still managed to win this game and even outrebound a much bigger team 34-19. Whenever Investment Academy would make a run SWISH was able to answer with a big bucket. Jevon Jacobs led all players with 25 and Riam Sigua with an impressive 19-7. For Investment Academy, although they were in this game from start to finish they really had a difficult time playing as a unit. Ahsan Mahmood led with 17 points on 8/14 shooting in the loss.
