This week we saw some great game action at Hoopdome. With it being Week 3, you can see
teams starting to gel a bit more and develop the chemistry needed to succeed. This led to some
close match-ups on the night and some entertaining basketball. Here is what went down;

Kings 76 (3-0) vs. Regeneration X 67 (0-3)
Regeneration came to play tonight, and gave the kings everything they could handle. They
jumped out to an early lead and fought hard throughout the entire game. However, you know
who stepped up and took over. Yes Paul Blake was once again unguardable as he led a strong
surge in the 2 nd half for Kings who were on fire from beyond the arc (14/31). This was easily the
best effort from Regeneration on the season. Their offence was clicking and the ball was
moving extremely well (18 team assists) from start to finish. If they can continue to play as fluid
and together as they did in this game then that would be big going forward .

Hong Shing 68 (2-1) vs. Bel-Air Academy 52 (1-2)
Bel-Air have came into this one looking to shake off an ugly loss to the Kings in Week 2.
Unfortunately, they were unable to get the win in this one against a Hong Shing squad that
jumped on them early and often. Bel-Air had no answer for the depth of Hong Shing and
couldn’t keep up with Hong Shing's quick strikes in transition. Hong Shing spread the balk
around making the extra pass numerous times to secure an easy bucket. When they are
engaged defensively they can wreak havoc on teams ball handlers (14 team steals) and really
shit down the Bel -Air offence.
