2019 BioSteel All Canadian Basketball Games

   The BioSteel All Canadian Basketball Games Showcase the top 24 male and female Canadian high school basketball players who were either born in Canada or who is enrolled in a Canadian institute. The top 24 athletes come to Toronto, Ontario to work with Canadian coaches and trainers in many events that include practices and scrimmages in front of NBA scouts and GM’s, community outreach, Nike skills challenge and the boys and girls all Canadian games. This event is NBA sanctioned which attracts representation from about 90% of NBA teams.

 

The athletes are selected by the Girls and Boys All Canadian selection committees and are then divided into two teams. The committee is made up of Canadian basketball stakeholders, provincial representatives and scouts from Canada.

 

The BioSteel All Canadian Basketball Games are shaking up the features this year as they will add the female games alongside with the mens. This is a great opportunity to show young females across Canada that they can make it as Kia Nurse a Hamilton, Ontario native is a strong example of a female Canadian Athlete that is a leader and an ambassador to the sport of basketball.

The BioSteel All Canadian Basketball Games have produced some NBA players such as Jamal Murray, Thon Maker and Shai Gilgeous- Alexander. This is a great opportunity to show Canadians and people around the world to showcase what Canadian basketball is about and to show everyone we are the real deal. The Biosteel All Canadian Basketball Games start on March 31, 2019 at 7:30pm on TSN and the female game will start March 31 at 3pm on TSN direct and the TSN app.
