Hong Shing defeats The Vets

Hong Shing jumped out to an early lead and led for the most of the game by a margin of 20. Christian Casimier was on fire with 26 points on 9/12 from the field and 7/8 from three point range. Melbourne and Williams added 14 each. Hong Shing shot 10/11 from three point range which really helped put this game away. Hong Shing rolls to win #2. The Vets did get 23 points from Said Samater, but was the only player in double figures. They did improve on a few things in Week 2 but still searching for their first win.

District 6 gets first W over Regeneration X

This one was the best game of the night. It was competitive throughout and both teams shared the ball and took care of the ball. At the half it was tied at 27. In the 2nd half, District spread the gap and would go on to pick up the victory. District did struggle from the line shooting less than 50% from the line. Shae Sheppard made his debut with 19-10 with Akeem Isaac chipped in with 16. For Regeneration X, Jason Miller was solid with 12-9-4 and Ted Johnson led in scoring with 14. District gets their first W while Regeneration drops their 2nd in a row

Kings blow out Bel-Air

It was close early on with the Kings winning 9-7, but the Kings would go on a 22-2 run to blow this game wide open. Bibby did Bibby things with 28 points, 21 rebounds, 7 assist and 4 blocks. Shane Morrison also had a massive game with 25 points and 12 rebounds. Plus Damon Adloo with 23 and Moghani with 18. Kings shot an unbelievable amount of three pointers with 55, making 19 of them. Bel-Air Academy got great performances across the board with Milad Gulam, Adam Zohni and KJ Matezo each recording double-doubles but not enough to keep this game competitive. Bel-Air did some good things in this game but it was ultimately the three point shooting that put this game away. Kings get another W while Bel-Air gets their first loss.
