What Went Down

The Hitmen got their first win of the season, Fully Loaded moved to 2-1 with a win against the Lights Out, and the Grind Time moved to 3-0 against the Monarchs after Ryan Michalski carried the offense with 16 points. This week especially was big for teams like the Hitmen and Fully Loaded, as one team got off the bad end of a 2 game losing streak to start and the other one opened some eyes as they moved to 2-1 in their first season.

Hitmen Vs Scarlem

The Hitmen got a big W on the board - their first win in this early season- against the lowly Scarlem Globetrotters on Wednesday night. Backed by Ahasan Mahmood's big scoring night going off for 20 points on 10-16 shooting, the Hitmen got that important win on the season and can start building confidence through that win. They moved the ball more on Wednesday night, and it helped them big time in getting 8 three pointers.

Fully Loaded VS Lights Out

The expansion Fully Loaded looked fully loaded on Wednesday night against Lights out, scoring 74 points for an easy 20 point win. They held scoring threat Tre Eli to just 11 points on 5-10 shooting, meanwhile they put numbers on the board with Kylan Estabrook going off for 25 points on 9-19 shooting. The exposed the Lights Out weakness, which was the lack of scoring depth and took control of the game winning easily.

Grind Time VS Monarchs

A highly touted match-up featuring two teams that could meet each other later on in the playoffs, ended the night on Wednesday with the Grind Time remaining undefeated with a 20 point 83-63 win against the Monarchs. Grind Time had a shooting fest against the Monarchs, as they put in 11 threes off of 20 assists. The teamwork remains as their teams biggest strength, and their unselfish play leads players to have open high efficient shots from both inside the paint, and outside around the perimeter.
