About MEGACITY Basketball

Established in Summer of 2009, MEGACITY Basketball was built upon a dream amongst a small group of friends in Toronto. In the short period of time since then, MEGACITY Basketball has grown into a large community of athletes, fans, sponsors and volunteers. From initially a small league of 4 teams, MEGACITY Basketball brings new excitement this season with a total of 36 teams involved.

Make no mistake, this is just the beginning...

WE ARE an organization determined to provide each and everyone of our players with the best basketball experience on and off the court. That is our mission and as most of you know, we take that very seriously. We take pride in our work and we exhaust all our efforts in the pursuit of perfection. We are devoted to accomplishing our mission and we will not settle for mediocrity.

Why MEGACITY Basketball?

Our MEGACITY, Toronto, can best be described as a "multicultural mosaic". A city unlike any other city in the world. At MEGACITY Basketball we hope to reflect the diverse image of our city. We are not a league driven by race or religious beliefs. We are a league for the basketball players of TORONTO.

No longer Toronto's best kept secret, the word is out.... Megacity Basketball is the best basketball league in the city hands down!

- Nathan Ho (FALCONS 2010)

I would recommend Megacity Basketball to anybody and everybody… Don't play anywhere else, this is the league where you want to play at. Once you're in here, you will never turn back!

- Afshin Sanebakhsh (KILLER BEES 2010)

What separates Megacity from other leagues can be summed up in one word, dedication. The effort provided by the organizers is everything a player can ask for. This is just the beginning for the momentum Megacity’s gaining.

- Derrick Marcelino (FALCONS 2010)

One of the most organized leagues I've been in. Uniforms were nice and games started on time. The website stats and profiles were great. Made you feel like you were playing in a semi-pro league. Nicely done.

- Joel Castro (G-MEN 2010)

First off, BEST LEAGUE OUT THERE! I've been part of Megacity Basketball since it first started. There is no other league that puts this much dedication to their players and staff. And it's just gonna get better...

- Byron Monleon (KILLER BEES 2010)

Megacity is a great league that is getting bigger by the season. #1 from website, stats, competition and overall experience. Keep up the good work and see you at the gym

- Eddie Cristobal (G-MEN 2010)

Clearly there is a passion for basketball with the people that run this league and they take pride in making this league as good as possible. This is the finest basketball league the city of Toronto has to offer...

- Kevin Byer (INFINITE 2010)

I've been part of Megacity since it started and it's only gotten better each time. Megacity is runned by dedicated staff who are constantly working to make it the best basketball experience for every player.

- Kenny Vitug (KILLER BEES 2010)

Detailed player statistics, box scores, recaps, game photos and video --these are not things you typically find in recreational leagues. Way to give us our money's worth. The most fun league I've played in thus far. Easy.

- Pierre LaFayette (VIPERS 2010)

Megacity puts in the work other leagues won't. No corners are cut and the experience of the player is important to the staff. It is scary to see how big this league will be.

- Jordan Pollard (KILLER BEES 2010)

I played in numerous men's leagues in the city for several years but Megacity is different. They're organized, fun and forward thinking. They know what they are doing and I look forward to many more seasons!

- Dominick Philippe (VIPERS 2010)

The time and effort the staff puts into this league is impressive. They pay attention to detail and put the players' experience as a priority. First thing I thought when I joined was that this league is legit.

- Patrick Santos (KILLER BEES 2010)

I just wanted to give this league props. This is the most organized league that I have played in. Y'all are doing a great job. Having the DJ during the game was icing on the cake.

- Jay Osuna (HOUSE CREW 2010)

This is by far the best Basketball League I have ever been to. If you are seeking for a higher level of challenge or dreaming of experience what's like to be an NBA player, here's the league you are looking for.
